Bran Castle - the most visited place in the area and probably in the entire Romania - especially by foreign travelers . The Bran Museum includes three distinctive sections. The Bran Castle, Bran Village Museum, and the old Bran customs.

Dambovicioara Canyon and Cave
Very beautiful places and not visited by large crowds of tourists. The gorges are very narrow in some points and the vertical stone walls are quite impressive. At the end of the 3 km gorge you will find the Dambovicioara village and the Dambovicioara Cave. To get there you will need to follow the road towards Pitesti untill you reach Pudu Dambovitei village - about 30 km south from Bran. Here you will see the sign Dambovicioara 5 Km to the right |

Bucegi Mountains - The most appreciated mountain range in Romania.

Rasnov Fortress - a very authentic medieval fortress, less known and visited than Bran Castle, but some say is much better than the famous castle.
To get there you have to go to Rasnov 10 km from Bran towards Brasov. Downtown Rasnov you will find signs guiding you to the citadelle. |
